Gates Community Christmas Tree Lighting

Join us for the Gates Community Christmas Tree Lighting!

The City of Gates invites everyone to gather for a festive evening of holiday cheer at our annual Community Christmas Tree Lighting on Saturday December 5, 2026, beginning at 4:30pm. The official tree lighting ceremony will take place at 5:30pm.

Bring your family and friends to enjoy:

• Christmas music and holiday cheer

• Ornament making and holiday crafts

• Light refreshments

• Goodie bags for the kids

To help keep everyone comfortable, this year’s event activities will be held under cover in the City Shop next to City Hall. City Hall will be open for restroom access.

This special event is a wonderful opportunity for neighbors, friends, and families to come together and welcome the holiday season. We hope you will join us as we light the community Christmas tree and celebrate the spirit of Christmas in Gates.
